AIRWAY'S HUMBLE BEGINNINGS

The AirWay Corporation has been manufacturing quality scales for the weighing industry since 1955. From modest beginnings in a one-care garage in Anaheim, California, AirWay had grown in a very short amount of time into a multi-divisional corporation with facilities in South Gate and San Diego, California, and Memphis, Tennessee. AirWay, then sought land in the Inland Empire and purchased a 60,000 square foot building on a 10 acre site in Banning, California to serve as corporate headquarters, research and development, and the main electronic scale manufacturing plant.

AirWay Corporation was established by three Italian, hard-working brothers that quickly became a behemoth in the weighing industry. AirWay started immediately selling and dominating in the airline and shipping industries by offering the following scale systems:
